From phone to destination

Six clear steps. One continuing connection.

Before you install

Have these four things ready.

  • An unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone
  • A reliable Wi-Fi connection for installation
  • Your SAIMING account and confirmed plan details
  • A private place to view any activation QR — never share it

  1. 01

    Check compatibility and unlock status

Confirm the exact phone, tablet or laptop supports eSIM and is not locked to another carrier.

  2. 02

    Install one SAIMING eSIM

Use the guided setup on Wi-Fi. Add the eSIM once and keep it on your device for future journeys.

  3. 03

    Keep your default line clear

Leave your existing SIM as the default line for calls and messages unless the verified SAIMING guide tells you otherwise.

  4. 04

    Choose the mobile data line

When the service is ready, select SAIMING as the mobile data line for this journey.

  5. 05

    Confirm data roaming

Turn on data roaming for the SAIMING line only when the destination guide instructs you to do so.

  6. 06

    Run a connection test

Open a page or map, then check the App for the current connection and usage state before relying on service.

Device paths

Know where the eSIM setting lives.

Names can vary by phone model and software version. Use these paths as orientation, then follow the on-screen SAIMING guide.

iOS

On iPhone

Open Settings, choose Mobile Service or Cellular, then choose Add eSIM and follow the guided installation.

Android

On Android

Open Settings, choose Network and internet or Connections, then open SIMs or SIM manager and add an eSIM.

Tablet

On a tablet

Only cellular models with explicit eSIM support apply. A Wi-Fi-only tablet cannot install a mobile plan.

Laptop

On a laptop

Confirm the laptop has both a cellular modem and eSIM support, then use the manufacturer mobile-network settings.

If setup does not match your screen

Stop before deleting an installed eSIM. Open troubleshooting or contact Customer Support with your phone model and the step you reached — never send an activation code.

Questions, answered

Clear before you leave.

Do I install the SAIMING eSIM more than once?

The SAIMING experience is designed around one persistent eSIM. Install it once, then add supported data choices for future journeys.

When should I choose my destination?

Explore country, regional or global coverage before your trip, then review the current option in SAIMING before choosing.

Can I use pay as you go instead of a plan?

Yes. Pay as you go is designed for flexible use. Monthly plans are the better-value option when your data use is heavier or more regular.

Where do I see my usage?

The SAIMING App keeps your data plan and usage status together so you can see what you have used and what remains.
