Guides and FAQs
Find the answer you need
- What is SAIMING?
- SAIMING provides Global Data across 170 destinations on one persistent eSIM, managed through one account.
- What does SAIMING provide today?
- Roaming data across 170 destinations, as single-destination, regional or global plans, plus Pay as you go. Everything is managed in one SAIMING account.
- How is SAIMING different from a travel eSIM?
- You install one SAIMING eSIM and keep it. When you travel somewhere new you add coverage to the same eSIM instead of buying and installing another profile.
- How do I get a SAIMING eSIM?
- Check that your device supports eSIM and is unlocked, then choose and buy a plan in the SAIMING App and follow the install guidance there.
- Do I need to install an app?
- Yes. The SAIMING App is where you buy plans, install your eSIM, and see usage, renewal and billing in one place.
- Which situations suit an eSIM best?
- Travel, work trips and any time you want data abroad without swapping your physical SIM or hunting for local Wi-Fi on arrival.
- Which devices work with SAIMING?
- You need an eSIM-capable device that is not carrier-locked. The App checks compatibility during setup before you install anything.
- How do I check my phone before I buy?
- Check your device settings for an eSIM or digital SIM option, and confirm with your current carrier that the device is unlocked.
- Can I keep my existing number active?
- Yes. SAIMING Global Data runs alongside your existing SIM, so your usual number keeps working for calls and messages as normal.
- What should I check before installing?
- Three things: your device supports eSIM and is unlocked, you are on a stable Wi-Fi connection, and you have your SAIMING plan ready in the App.
- Why do I need Wi-Fi to install?
- Installing an eSIM downloads a profile to your device, so a stable connection during setup avoids an interrupted install.
- Where do I install it?
- In the SAIMING App. It guides you through installation on your device and tells you when the eSIM is ready to use.
- When does my data start?
- Start timing can vary by product and destination. The App tells you when service starts before you confirm a plan or begin using Pay as you go.
- Do I need to change anything when I land?
- Follow the steps shown in the App for your plan. It shows the current state of your eSIM and what to do next.
- Can I add a new destination to the same eSIM?
- Yes, where the destination and plan are supported. Adding coverage does not mean installing a new eSIM.
- Which data tiers are available?
- Each destination shows only the monthly Global Data allowances approved for it. Available tiers may include 1 GB, 3 GB, 5 GB, 10 GB, 20 GB or 50 GB.
- Is a 20 GB annual plan 20 GB for the year?
- No. An annual plan includes a monthly allowance throughout the year.
- How does annual billing work?
- Annual is billed once per year. Your price and saving are shown before checkout.
- Will my existing number still work?
- Yes. Your SAIMING eSIM carries data. Your existing SIM and number continue to work for calls and messages.
- How does Pay as you go work?
- Add Cash balance in the App and use what you need. Your balance is deducted as you use Global Data.
- When should I choose pay as you go instead of a plan?
- Choose pay as you go for occasional or unpredictable use. Choose a monthly or annual plan when you travel often or use more data.
- What happens when a plan runs out?
- If Pay as you go is available and you have Cash balance, Global Data can continue within your spending cap. Otherwise choose another data option in the App.
- Can I use pay as you go in a region or Global plan?
- pay as you go uses one global SAIMING Wallet balance: data is deducted at the pay-as-you-go rate of the destination you are in. Regional and Global products are fixed plans only.
- How is my pay as you go estimate calculated?
- Choose a whole number of gigabytes. The estimate uses the exact published rate for that destination; checkout confirms the amount before any order is created.
- My eSIM installed but I have no data.
- Check that the SAIMING line is enabled for mobile data and that data roaming is allowed for that line, then restart the device.
- Installation did not finish.
- Reconnect to a stable Wi-Fi network and reopen the SAIMING App. Check whether the eSIM is installed, active or still needs attention.
- Coverage feels different from home.
- Partner networks and coverage vary by destination. Check the destination details in the App for what is available there.
- I still cannot get online.
- Use the Support Centre guides for your destination and note what you have already tried. A direct contact route will appear only after it is confirmed.
- Where can I see current product availability?
- The Products navigation marks availability beside each service. Open a product page for its current scope and details.
- Where can I see my usage?
- In the SAIMING App. Your plan, usage and remaining allowance sit in one account.
- How do renewals work?
- Renewal and cancellation terms are shown in the App before you confirm a plan. Check the current terms there for your plan.
- Which currency are prices in?
- SAIMING plan prices are official SAIMING prices in USD.
- How do I buy a plan?
- Choose a destination and data amount, then sign in to continue. Checkout shows the selected product, price and current payment availability before you confirm anything.
- What happens if checkout is unavailable?
- No payment, order, balance change or eSIM activation is created. Return to your destination or account and try again only after checkout becomes available.
- Where can I see orders and transactions?
- Open Personal centre, then choose Orders or Wallet and transactions. If the service is not connected, the page shows an empty or unavailable state instead of sample activity.
- Can I cancel or request a refund?
- Cancellation and refund rules are not yet published as effective terms. Review the current checkout and Terms of service before buying; do not assume a refund is available.
- How is my account protected?
- Sign-in uses secure session cookies and verification steps. Never share passwords, one-time codes, payment details or eSIM activation information in a support message.
- How can I contact Customer Support?
- Use the Support Centre for current guidance. Direct messaging and contact channels appear only after SAIMING confirms the service and address; the website does not simulate a human reply.
